How about we design a symbol for lfe? We could make this like a competition.
Then replace the the dots with the symbol.

Sry, don't really get what you mean... did want to say that everybody should have the choice of setting his own icon (or at least, choose from a little collection)? If you mean that, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but there's no possibility whatsoever.

Well, this is a LITTLE FIGHTER forum, so the thought of choosing a character sounds reasonable. However, I love the fact that people have lots of different ideas! Kinda bad that I can't really decide... I'll leave this open for your suggestions, so when you have a brand-new suggestion, post it.
