[solved] Annoying catching

Is it possible to make normal catching?

It's really annoying when both chars are "teleporting" to middle when one char catch another one.

I want that only caught char "teleports" to catching char so it would be like Itachi's "dark kunai".

It would be rly cool if someone will do it on 2250hp EXE.

your ik3 is too big, and by default, the person who's catching will "jump" to the person who's caught (when their cpoints (kind 1 and 2) align). no you cannot change this, but you can change the itr kind 3 area and the cpoint coordinate, which means as long as the x coordinate of the catching chat's cpoint is within 2 pixels, (meaning +/- 2, giving you a total range of 5 pixels for the itr (coz u don't want the char to "jump" so much)).

actually the amount that ur char jumps is also increased by the difference of the bdy and cpoint difference that is encountered during the itr, so u can have itr kind 3 with x: 30 y: 30 w: 1 and h: 1, and your cpoint kind 1 in the catching frame is also x: 30 y: 30, which gives no "jump" on your part, but if your itr hits the edge of some other guy who's bdy is really wide, and his cpoint is in the middle, then your char still can jump to the middle of the other guy.

For one of my chars (who is able to instant-catch enemys) i have simply used a very short-range itr:3...
He graps for the opponent, and then the opponent is catched on his hand. I don't see a problem there, it looks realistic and so on...

If you want to make an itr:3 over long range, then you have problems of course...

I must use very long cpoint or body...

So maybe with large body this will work?
I dunno how they maybe Itachi's "dark kunai".

They used itr/kind: 3 to catch the char get hit, and the cpoint bring Itachi to next the victim.

How you're gonna do it: use that long-range itr and a cpoint which is quite far away from your char. Then, in the next few frames you make the cpoint closer and closer to your bdy until it look like you. Looks like a movement, although it's just pseudo-movement :P
