held weapons cannot seem to hurt their teammates - no matter what state they are in

I always dreamed of a posion-cloud which "sticks" on the chars like my "wandering Healingstars" in lf2 v2.5, but itr/kind 8/9 don't works with "sticking damage". I hope Silva has sucess with the exe! Poison would be great! XD
If poison works we could also try out "shock".
I know there is a "shock"-function in Robotical LF2, but thats just cpointed to the shockframes and doesn't work with bottles either!

I think he just reverses the effect of the milk bottle. Not sure though, but he certainly won't make something like a new state for that... :confused:

that poison cloud shouldn be too hard - just create the regular sticky itr kind 8 object without any injury at all
use the itr kind 8 to let it cycle through an animation and only add the actual damaging itr in a few frames of that cycle

Hey, thas an good idea, but....err....A bottle which shocks you while drinking? ...err.... I would prefer some sticks or swords whick cause shocking...
But it would be cool to have some random thingys which can trap you...

I meant that the cloud will move with your char and you have to drink some anti-poison to get rid of the cloud......
otherwise the cloud dissapears if the char gets hitten or jumps.
I know these facts because I made false healstars in Lf2 v2.5.

it should only stop following when the character is knocked out or theres no overlapping bdy to stick to
so you can increase the area to make it follow jumping characters aswell - and adding dummy bdys for rolling and other non-bdy frames should help those

for the antidote, if you can create a bottle that traps/shocks you when you drink it should be easy to create on that gets rid of this cloud

i was fast asleep then (i live in india gmt +5:30)(the poison not the cloud)

problems -
there is the punching visualisation and flames.
there is a shadow where the person drank the poison.

  • If you made the ball stay forever, I'd suggest you give him a very short wait value (0 or 1). That should solve the problem.
  • I suppose you didn't use the thingy with a special value, otherwise the burning smoke wouldn't be seeable (You also have to use state 3005 in the burning smoke then). If you did... I don't know how to fix that then.

For the punching sound: Use effect: 5 and a fake-sound (that isn't hearable)... Then it's 100% quiet.

It could also be caused throught a false linked "next" or next: 9999
In the last case you should use next: 1000 to make the bottle --or whatever dissapering!
