Well, his body width (:P) is fine, just because the head is comparable big it doesn't look right. Here are some

Edit: again some new sprites in the first spritesheet done. However they don't look that good.
By the way: I decided not to give him a hoe in the falling frames. He loses it after the breaked defence or whatever and gets it back with standing up.

its easy to recolour the background if you want me to. just tell me which colour.

well, I think if I use yours, I can change the colour myself. You don't have to do that.
I'm also working on a face in the moment. Well, it doesn't look very good in the moment. More like a head out of the spritesheet, just bigger( that is NOT what I've done )
Anyway:

wow, that ooks really good... the bodom looks a bit strange and he hasn't got this lighter/darker parts at his neck.
Anyway, great face. However as I said before, I will still try to do my own face. If it won't work, I'll have to decide between yours and alectrics face. Both are great.
But again: You are probably waisting your time with drawing things for me. It's not sure, but certain.

as I'll be away for about one and a half week( from friday on), I think I post one last time so that you know I'm away.
And I think this is a good time to post how far I am( first spritesheet is nearly done. Only some annoying frames left. And I'll have to fix the shading on the hoe)

I'll try to do a new face tomorrow, but... we'll see.

I didn't read through the whole topic but... if this ugly ball should resemble his rowing, then you really have to make new sprites.
A bit like the crouching, only that the head is rotated forwards too.

Something like that.
