The ground looks sooo much better, but what's wrong with the ruins in the background? They have a somehow weird texture.

But looks better if it's darker. But not with this weird texture.

Agree to that. For the sake of perspective, you should at least make the pattern in the background smaller than in the foreground (although I'm not too fond of the texture anyways). Texture could be much more subtle. Don't try to "destroy" the painteresque look, it looks quite good

tried to improve it the way u've said..but haven't completely *killed* the texture
