Eddie's Sprites

I needed a way of keeping tabs on my work for when my computer gets reset (BUMMER - Someone downloaded something and so screwed up the computer whilst they were at it). Some of these have existing LF2 character bases, if not all of them - however I will not use any player made character bases. I am a bit of a newbie to spriting, so please forgive me when you look at these and some may seem horrible. So here is a set of practise sprites I've done - for my reference and for yours:

If anyone has any idea's or thoughts on these, good or bad, please tell me. I'd like to improve my spriting skill and hope that some of you may push me in the right direction. Also if anyone would like to use references from any of the characters (Say a jacket or something) - please feel free, i'm not going to complain.

Let's say it like that: you're way above beginner's level

When you do hair, add a little shading. Compare Woody Angelus's hair to Rosé. Rosé's looks rather flat, don't you think?
When doing clothes, don't hesitate to add random clothes-crinkles. They make your char appear more realistic. Just don't exaggerate it.

Cheers - I forgot that I had Woody's hair for Angelus - so I'll probably edit that later.

And yeah, I do want to add details, but I'm afraid of over detailing or making the hair look worse. I'll experiment with a few hairstyles, then see if I can get it right ^^

You're very welcome.

There should be quite a few write-ups about hair in the Tutorials-section, I'm sure they might be helpful

tried a different shading technique with this - I think the results are kind of obvious xD

It looks like it's got a very low quality, could you fix that please?

Otherhow (is that a word? :P), it looks very good. The only think bothering me is the hair, which is too small and doesn't contain any pronounced strands (?) (if you aim for LF2 style). Keep evolving that shading technique of yours!
