yeah this is one of my first go's at making my own sprites.

I'm having problems with the armor, I want the shoulder plates to be real pointy like this:

Yoda would say: Shading, this sprite needs...
But yea, it really does lack shading, especially in the torso.
Check some shading and hair tuts, this site has a big pile of them

Heh, looks better already.

A word of advice though: try turning his body to the side a bit.
I know LF2 characters look like Egyptian hieroglyphics, but I suppose that's what the style desires...

Other then that, yeah - face and hair need some work.

this one looks worse, i couldn't get the shading quite right and i still suck at the face. but the position is hopefully better

You really think the one with red shoes is better, yeah he was actually supposed to have red shoes, i was watching the anime again and saw he did have red shoes with a gold ankle guard instead of just big gold one piece boots. I like the boots though.


New sprite, one that actually looks decent from my big pile of other stuff.

The head looks like you just stuck it on, and you need to raise the shoulders.
