Solution for the fire freeze problem is simply using fall: 70 on all fire attacks.
The fire freezes the player controls because fall is bellow 70 so player doesn't fall, as required by the burning frames... so he gets stuck.
Make sure the char falls and it won't get stuck anymore. =D

He has some different kinds of boomerangs and one of those boomerangs is the fire one...
Problem with the weapons is that they vary their attacks depending on the enemy movement, one of those movements (the most common one) is the walking/standing one called 'normal'.
What happens is that when you hit the enemy on that movement with the weapon using effects 2, 20 or 21 (fire effects), the enemy 'freezes' on the first frame of the fire animation.
