rofl that`s freaky - since this is the first time ever this bug appears I hope it won`t appear again - prince freeza can be happy that he got two thanks (not even sure if it`s just the name which appear twice or if the count went up +2, too...)

Oh dear, that looks like a database-error. I fear that this will range into the impossibility to be fixed. Editing a certain entry in a ~100MB SQL-file is a little risky as it could mess up a whole lot of other things in case it does not work out as expected (besides that it would takes ages for me to re-upload it :P). Other solution will be to start a recounting-process of the entire database. I'm not sure if you can actually do this for plugins (where the thanks-feature belongs into). Therefore, I'll tentatively say:

erm, the recount only works on posts, thread´s and stuff like that - not on plugins and the thanks-thingy is a plugin...
