(in my eyes it's as much an element as poison)



Oh, yeah, forgot to mention:
That clock-like thing on his chest is the exact opposite of a clock. It tells time what it is.

time is not really an element :P ...but idea and sprite are still awesome (my fav so far)

@lf2TimmE1: Time is a constant. It's always there, and it certainly affects us. Oh, and is Poison an element?

@SparK: Not yet. It was a pain in the behind to sprite on it's own. On the other hand, it's built up of loads of layers, so maybe...
Looks like it was disposal'd.

Anyway, if one is to take the theme really strict, there should only be four kinds of elementals:
Fire, Water, Air, Earth, and according to some, Spirit or the like.
Since we've had entries that's both Ice (water) and Poison (nature, sort of), should Time (spirit) not be a problem.

An element is a pure substance that cannot be broken down into any simpler substances by chemical methods. In that light, an element is the simplest kind of matter. We're used to calling them elements, but we also call them chemical elements, and this is because they are the basis for chemical combinations and chemical reactions

Here's a dilemma... I made a new sprite for the contest, but I know I can only submit one. So, I'm asking your opinions. Which should I go with:

Old sprite: Angry Wind!


New sprite: Insanity Elemental!

the wind looks cartoonish but playable, as for the floating insanity head I don't know if it would fit ingame.
