Nice bg, but that forest in the back looks very crappy copy-pasted.

Nice background I see there. The only issue I have right now w/o playing it is the moutain (or forest) layer. It somehow stands out like a sore thumb, so if you can blend it a bit more it should be better.

Thanks for uploading this. I feel great now - I wanna do more sprites and stuff...
The bg itself is great, but on the houses I see some dirty pixels. And do some blending to the houses near the forest/hill/whatever and blend it to the walls. Other than that it's pretty clean and professionally done.

First of all thx for all these nice and helpful comments!
They do really motivate me to go on and make this a great mod.
I'm looking forward to finish the daili agent in the next two days but for now i just overworked the bg again and i think it looks way better than before.

bg facts:
  • Width: 1200 pixels
  • Z-area: small-medium
  • Dynamic effects: No
  • Parallax scrolling: Yes
  • 5 layers:
  • wall in the background
  • forest-layer
  • houses in the background
  • houses in the foreground
  • wall in the foreground (fighting area)

It's looking better now. But it's kinda missing the colour-ness (?) of the previous version.
Hard to describe.
You might wanna split up the house-layers so you get better parallax-scrolling effects.

Anyways, nice job!

the forest layer is not that flashy green anymore but in exchange it fits better into the whole background design now.
the house layers are already splitted up btw.

A lot better. But as Lauli said, it could do with a bit more colour. Maybe it's a bit too un-saturated at the moment.

Also, the fighting wall layer:
The wall on top should appear thinner than the one below because it is further to the viewer
