to be serious i thought of a system for money in klf2 stage mode, well, you know how it turned out (unfinished), but if you make an adventure you can go to certain shops, buy weapons or soldiers and stuff and influence the gameplay this way....
For the system: i would use one items which hold the amount of money, shown with state 9997 in one corner or so, if the amount of money change, you hurt this object at a certain y-level which is characteristic for this amount, then this object go to a new frame (hurt in this case means the object which hold the money-amount has a ik8 on certain levels and you hurt it with a t0-bdy) etc...
of course you have to know which changes in the money amount are possible ...
