Anim8or? ANIM8OR?!? I hate Anim8or!

We had to use it for our 3d modelling class because our teacher couldnt be bothered to teach us something better (like blender for instance)
If we use a comparison of the available 3d programs, this is what they would be (like a metaphor)

Anim8or is like a small tricycle. Not really practical for much.
Blender, much better, is like a small car with some gadgets, good to get from A to B, but nothing superb, very hard to handle.
3D studio max is like the Batmobile if it had been made by Mercedes. Classy, comfortable, and soooo many gadgets and crazy awesome things, like blowing up cop cars.

I cant really comment on things like Cinema 4D (which is frikin awesome) and Zbrush (also pretty darn amazing)...oh i just did. Nevermind.

Im not trying to insult anyone, but i just....REALLY...REALLY dislike Anim8or. It keeps crashing because it isnt optimized for rendering. I had to render a whole playground model 360 degerss view of it, and the computers were good enough, but it took ages. Rage.
