I honestly don't think it's possible. One, most people using computers have Windows as its OS, so it would be a waste of time to rewrite the game in a linux-compatible format. Two, rewriting LF2 itself would be harder than ever, since the format .exe have to be changed (mac and linux can't run .exe files)
why do we need LF2 to run on linux/mac anyways? I've actually also heard that there's a virtual PC (?) that can run more than one OS at one computer. Most people can also borrow a windows computer to run the game.

two, if you get the development code (?) from marty it wouldn't be that hard have i heard.

Is it even possible to get that code? Didn't he sell the copyrights or something...? :S
If not, how would we go about getting it anyway?
