Jerk's spriting attempts

so, it's time for me to finally share the few of my sprites i've(not so often) done. I've not done this before because my sprites were all blurry and because i didn't really work on em (resulting in me producing very few sprites).
they are currently divided into two: sprites before and after my (Now former, very sh**** and obsolete) computer crashed.

Status system (Click to View)

Done well (sprite is done and maker is proud)
Good (sprite looks good and is almost complete)
OK (sprite is done, looks ok, and later improvements are to be expected)
Average (sprite looks awkward and is very likely not done)
Halfway (sprite is halfway complete)
Failed (sprite is complete or almost complete, but looks very bad)
New! (a sprite from latest thread update)

Description: you remember military monk from sprite game? it kinda didn't turn out as "military monk". i always thought of remaking it, but until now, it remained as a thought.
Comments: looks like a fusion of an assassin and soldier. somehow looks plastic, might redo after a good time of improving. Disclaimer: The copyright owner is not responsible of any lacks of weaponry and mistakes of glamorflace. if you know how to do a good glamorflace, please be kind and tell the owner ASAP. ~Jerkington XIII

Description: this is the first attempt of spriting after the mighty computer crash happened in 6.12.2010. Turned out i sprited a Birdguy, who i call Birdo.
Comments: Doesn't really look awful, and I'm kinda proud of it. A task for ya: Guess who i used as base.
Status: Done well

Description: a facepic attempt for Assassin in the below spoiler.
Comments: not completely awful, but needs improvement.
status: Average

Description: a LF2 sprite of >>Fencer from Battle for Wesnoth<<.
Comments: Have to redo the face, otherwise kinda good, even if i say so myself.
Status: OK

Description: a random unnamed redcoat.
Comments: blurry clothes, ridiculous hair, and sharp eyes.
Status: Average

Description: did it for sprite contest, not so succesfully
Comments: everything is "almost" alright. I don't like it
Status: Failed

Description: a complete revamp of Yinyin's frozen (at least, that's where i began)
Comments: ...
Status: Halfway

Description: tried klodas's facepic tut, and what? the best psycho face i've ever made (thanks, klodas, my hero /=))
Comments: sharp and clean, just oversize and the shirt is... not that good.
Status: Done well

Description: An entry to a contest I can't remember for reasons I don't care about
Comments: Possibly one of my most terrible ones
Status: Failed New!

Description: Again with the Facepic tut, a step forward from the last pic. Modeled after me (they don't quite seem like me though).
Comments: Fairly nice, but still missing good-looking shirts.
Status: Good New!

reclaimed ones (Click to View)

Description: every spriter has to do an assassin at least once to be worthy of being called "spriter". I did this one almost from scratch, and luckily used it at the second forum RPG by Eddie, because that helped me to reclaim the sprite.
Comments: face sideways, but otherwise no major flaws are to be seen.
Status: Good

Description: a LF2 Remake of Ranger from Battle for Wesnoth. I did it for the sprite contest, but failed.
Comments: It's hood looks good, but everything else is a LF2 spriter's nightmare (too blurry).
Status: Failed
