In the following night another person dies. He is, too, revealed a citizen. The three remaining persons now suddenly doubt that one of them is a traitor. It must be a plight that was killing them one by one.
Two days later, they are all dead.
The only traitor was the prophet; he lied. And if you can remember, nobody buried him, so his rotting body became a disease which infected everybody!
