Water in Minecraft is already an non-Newtonian fluid. Why, you might ask?
Try dropping dynamite in Minecraft water. It doesn't blow up anything, and does not splash the liquid around. Same principle is if you drop a TNT-box in water, activate it and jump in. In real life, the shockwave from such a blast transform your inner organs into pudding, as your body is almost the same density as water, thus letting the shockwaves travel right through you. However, in Minecraft, this is obviously not the case, as one of the safest way to fight a Creeper is doing so under water. Go figure.
