Now, you want a serious oppinion? The first 4 sprites plainly suck, sorry.
The facepic was completely off-turn, yes, but it had it's own style.
In the sheet_0 i only see a few paint-made circles in different colors, that don't make any sense nor resemble the facepic...

At least make the eye/mouth color uniform and give the normal skin this two-sided effect like the facepic ^^ And as it's a cartoonish character, i may suggest outlining him with fake-black?
