I usually torrent download games first, see if they work fine on my computers, etc. and then buy the game if it works and if I like it (multiplayer works best with bought games anyway).
Anyway, I heard much about Portal (and Portal 2) and will definitely try it out when I get some free time. As for now, I'd love to get some feedback on the game itself.
