why is his right hand sliding along the spear?
shouldnt it have a tight grip on the spear end and let it slide through his stationary left hand (just like louisEX attack)
it would give him much more range and use more of the spear length

also i like the idea of having three different basic attacks
i guess you will have the upper and lower jab as the first ones for the two normal punches and the straight middle one as the one you get by pressing attack quickly again
if you make these jabs fast in game it would be cool if he would need 4 instead of the basic 3 hits to get his opponent into the dance of pain
that would also compensate the immense range which might actually be longer than louisEX' if you fully move the spear out
