Agree with Lauli about the in-profile-thingy. I wouldn't put these awards into the avatar-field. It's not very difficult to make these awards like it says in the additional info about a person. This field could be filled with the regular cups for fighting, and for other contests, there'd be different awards in there (crud, more images that I have to make 
)
Also, I don't really know how many contests we'll do. For example, look into the old LFE-forums, there's, I believe, one or two DCing contests, one or two spriting contests, etc. Depending on the activity of the members and their preferences (coding, doing graphics, etc...), we might be able to organize such tournaments. I wouldn't be totally disinclined if we add that stuff to the profile field. It's possibly a really good idea.gif ";)")
