Entrance sound / Death sound

Is there any way to get each character to play a specific sound file upon their spawn in game? How about a sound upon their death?

I want this because i have given voice-overs to the characters in my mod, and i want each character to say a particular lines when they start to fight, and a different line when they are killed.

Is this possible? If so, how would i accomplish it?
