I finally could launch S-dennis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First of all, I want to clarify you did a really dirty dirty work.
Here are the errors I saw:
1/ Your folder is called : s_dennis but mainly the paths mentionned in the .dat files are s-dennis.
HOWEVER, some files need the s_dennis path.
You really need to CLEAN your .dat files and only write paths with "s-dennis" (or s_dennis ^^).
I didn't want to go deeper in the dat files, so i put a s-dennis folder and a s_dennis folder in the sprite folder
(I just wanted to launch LF2)
2/ There is a big trouble with files location, there is:
no sprite\s-dennis\heal.dat
no sprite\s-dennis\S-DennisEX\tail.bmp
no sprite\s-dennis\S-DennisEX\BLKspinning.bmp
no sprite\s-dennis\S-DennisEX\ironsandblock.bmp
no sprite\s-dennis\S-DennisEX\spark.bmp
no sprite\s-dennis\S-DennisEX\sword.bmp
All of them are in a wrong location.
3/ There is no sprite\s-dennis\S-DennisEX\S-DennisEX\freeze_col.bmp
But this path is totally silly. It should be: sprite\s-dennis\S-DennisEX\freeze_col.bmp
3/ There is no sprite\davis_ball2.dat
HOW WEIRD! at least put sprite\s-dennis\davis_ball2.dat
4/ Some wav files don't exist. There is no "bing" or "115" in the original LF2 data folder (As far as i'm concerned)
no data\bing.wav
no data\115.wav
Well, now in game. I didn't test it a lot and moreover I didn't try the heal move, as mentionned in the readme.txt, I was really scared of what could possibly happen ^^
But two special moves have the same keys combination:
DJA to transform to S-DennisEX
DJA Leap attack
To sum up:
Put ALL your s-dennis files in sprite/s-dennis/S-Dennis (wav, bmp, dat)
Put ALL your s-dennisEX files in sprite/s-dennis/S-DennisEX (wav, bmp, dat)
Edit all the paths in your .dat files AND in the data.txt files.
Put S-dennis an ID between 12 and 20, and you will able to see him in the character selection menu.
Fix the DJA problem
and Voila?
