I am afraid you haven't grasped the one cannot always score first in contests. It's not about winning, it's about actually getting your arse up and do something. Protesting? Against what? This is ridiculous.
Not that I can follow your train of thought at all (if you're so much against Monolith, put him onto your ignore list and you won't ever get bothered by his posts or even pms again. Just running away from your problems doesn't solve them) but if you really want to stay out of this contest: fine. Then you stay out of the contest. Your decision.
