Well,that modification is nice.
But as marko pro said, no shade.
I suggest watching any shading tutorial for LF2 sprites like this:

Or you may try it by yourself as you can make shadows,as i have seen in some other sprites by you.
To make a HF bandit is complicated.HF sprite style shading is complicated and HF sprites has a lot of details.
