But from what I guess none of the solutions we have so far would really satisfy everyone:
Forced-catch-teleport:
- Human teleporting a com: Good if you can save him, bad if you pick the wrong one
com teleporting a human: Bad; highly unlikely to happen, AI might not use it properly
com teleporting a com: Good if it happens controlled, but unlikely
Human teleporting a human: Good if you can save him, bad if it's done deliberately to annoy someone
- Human teleporting a com: Good if you can save him, bad if you pick the wrong one; unlikely to be cancelled
com teleporting a human: Good; unlikely to happen, but if used the wrong way it's still cancelable
com teleporting a com: Good if it happens controlled, but unlikely
Human teleporting a human: Good if you can save him, but if used the wrong way it's still cancelable
- Human teleporting a com: Unlikely to be used by the com, at the same time unlikely to teleport the wrong one.
com teleporting a human: Good; unlikely to happen, but if used the wrong way it's still free not to use
com teleporting a com: Good if it happens controlled, but unlikely
Human teleporting a human: Good if you can save him, but if used the wrong way it's still free not to use
Hmm, that would make the cancelable teleport the best option I'd say.
