^exactly. @xmfcx: Well HCl is acid. When you put large amount of water(or any amount water) in it it starts to make a lot of energy thus making the water to boil and start shooting the water and the HCl together. NEVER put water in HCl. The only way to mix it is pouring little by little amount of HCl into the water and that way it wont explode. Hope i was understood
