Alright, looks like there is no doubt about which sprite's mine, so I guess there is no harm done if I comment sprite-by-sprite.
too long, spoilered (Click to View)
Mundvoll: I love the shading and the concept of the sprite itself. The mantle seems a little to high up, but that's not too disturbing. The only thing this sprite is lacking is just a little blood-dropping animation. Either way, you get a vote from me.
EXG9: I'm not too fond of the hair, but other than that, I can't spot any flaws. Nevertheless, I don't find it terribly interesting design-wise and it's impact isn't quite as strong as some of the others.
#3: Certainly not LF2-styled, but looking good nonetheless. The shading is too blurry for my taste, though.
#4: ...
#5: Animation However, I can't really tell what those fiery things he summons are. Torso is a little flat and the animation is a bit choppy. Why is he moving one px to the right suddenly?
#6: Nice concept and good shading for the most part, but details of the head are hard to spot(shading is a little weak there) and I'm not too fond of the pose(legs in particular).
#7: Good shading, but the head is really really small. Additionally, try using less saturated colours next time.
#8: Good sprite. Very nice shading though the legs could need a little bit of work. Lacks the special something for a really awesome sprite, though.
#9: No DH? That's unexpected. Great sprite, but a little too much of black outline for my taste. Also, some carefully set highlights could do wonders.
#10: Purple cat, awesome. Good sprite. That last frame of the animation looks slightly weird, as if he was pushing forward his head.
LF2TimmE1: Awesome concept, great shading. Upper half seems flawless, but the position of the legs looks strange, as do the feet (perspective perhaps?).
Madara Uchiha: I'm afraid I've got nothing to compare it to, so I'm not sure how good or bad it is. It would be awesome to see something else than Naruto characters, though.
#13: Not bad, though very close to Davis. Rather strongly saturated and shading needs work. That applies to the legs particularly: Why are there shadows around his knees?
YinYin: There's just no way you can imitate those extremely YinYin-ish (That's a word now, BP has agreed to it :P) animations. What else can I say but awesome? You've got a vote from me for sure.
#15: Nice sprite, somehow made me thing of the terracotta-army(I know, they ain't golden and look differently, but who cares?). Try making a sprite form scratch next time.
#16: The weapon looks great. Shading is hard to see, though, especially concerning the upper body.
#17: Not bad, but very close to Davis. For breathing, most people nowadays move the upper body by half-pixels, which I believe looks better (You can resize it to 200%, then move and resize back. You might have to edit it a little afterwards to reduce blurryness.) Perhaps use a transparent background next time?
Apoc: Great sprite. I'm actually happy not to see some giant beast this time :P (Even though those usually look great). No real flaws I could spot, but the swords don't strike me as particularly sharp, even though I don't know why. Anyway, voted.
#19(JustMe? Can't really tell, but I don't know who else'd sprite Archer): The sprite looks good, though I'd prefer to see an original character. Head and hair are a little blurry for my taste. (I really liked the female samurai btw.)
LutiChris: Awesome, Period. Voted. Sorry, no critique for you.
#21: Alright, I have no idea who might be the creator of this one. Interesting design, but shading needs work. There are a couple of pieces which look weirdly blurry, a little cloud-like. Also, his pinocchio-nose really threw me off.
#22: Good sprite, if a little simple. Could need slightly more contrast for some parts.
#23: Add shading to the sprite and perhaps erase the outline. I'd use either a black or transparent background to make it more pleasant to the eye.
#24: Very nice concept, sorta looks like a (more-or-less)shaved Da Vinci. Perhaps make his necklace stand out a little more. Also, something bothers me about the eyes.
#25: The head is the main part that needs work here. Maybe put aside one of the original heroes to have a reference. His suit has a lot of texture, but lacks some shading. A little highlight on his sword will aid the impression of it being metal.
