I'd say my taste for music is... not mainstream? I hate "dubstep" the Skrillex-clones produce today, and I hate rap. The only rap song I've ever listened more than once was a Finnish song (For any curious Finns: Cheek - Se parhaiten nauraa), and that's not what everyone really considers "rap". Instead I like instrumental, orchestral, psy-trance, ambient, soundtracks... really, I'd rather list the genres I despise (see above) than what I like. That is why I'm training up to create some pieces myself.

Ah, and somehow, I like songs in minor rather than those in major.

+1. Say though, don't you fiddle around creating music sometimes? Try making a dark song in major.
