The True Incantation of Seven Knights (Click to View)
Deep within an overrun fortress, in an underground room in the keep, a king and his royal guard prepared a desperate spell to take back their doomed castle.
Years before, after a long and questionable journey, the king's most trusted friend had returned with the scroll, saying only that it was the Incantation of Seven Knights, and never to use it.
When the king asked his seven guards to perform the ritual, some had their doubts, but all agreed readily. They were loyal to the end.
The ritual was meant to summon the ultimate warrior. That was all they really needed to know, wasn't it? If they knew the rest, they'd still do it; they had to. But the king wanted to spare them the horror as long as possible.
The knights followed his instructions, arranging themselves in the proper places, saying the right vows. When the time came, each knight pricked a hand to let a few drops of blood fall into the consecrated helmet. Just a few drops; there was no need to be gruesome.
There would be more than enough blood when their corpses were fused together to form the ultimate warrior.

My first time at the Grimoire and Cup?
Well, upon entering, I was struck immediately by the merry atmosphere... and by a thrown mug. Across the room I heard a shout,
"Sorry, friend, it was for the bastard next to ya!"
Edging through the raucous crowd, I eventually reached a seat at the bar.
"Welcome to the Grimoire and Cup," said the bartender. "Ugh, nasty bruise, that. Have one on the house."
While I waited, I glanced around and noticed a huge, stained spellbook behind the bar.
"That's the grimoire."
I stared blankly.
"As in, Grimoire and Cup, name of the pub," repeated the man next to me. "Every night we find the drunkest bloke in the room, and he tries a spell. Generally they bungle it. That's the fun part, see."
Around then, the bartender returned with a sizable cask of whiskey.
As I drank, the regulars recounted many tales of drunken wizardry. Eventually, a large, antiquated cup was shoved before me. It was filled with slips of ragged paper. They informed me that I was the drunkest bloke in the room.
I can't remember anything after that... Whenever I ask the regulars, they just laugh at my antlers.
