Also, regarding your last picture (note that I will go straightly to the point, without trying to put the metaphoric lipstick on the pig): the head seems to be way too small. Also, there is no real symmetry in the face: the eyes, for instance, have entirely different shapes. Same with the ears. The coloring is imprecise (especially at the neck, it goes above the outlines, while the chest is not colored at all close to the clothes). Additionally, the human rarely consists of straight lines. If you use the line-tool for defining outlines, use short lines so that you can create more round shapes. Shading is inconsistent; both ears are light, while parts of the face are in the shade. Nose and mouth do not have the, in my opinion, too strong outlines making it hard to define them.
