if you get symmetrical pieces to start with just place them symmetrical in the center
as long as your situation doesnt change you will often get the same piece over and over which lead me to get red very often

i actually sometimes tower the same piece on the wall very often to not create holes and hope for the few percent luck to kick in before i reach the top
