These backgrounds look pretty cool, I like these a lot!

I bet lauli could spot it

Maybe it's the perspective-mistake (?) of the wall?
I tried to correct it a little:


Since you plan on adding parallax scrolling, I'm sure it would be possible to have the dark blue part of the wall as a separate layer. That way it would actually be a really neat 3d effect. Maybe you could do the same for the Great Wall background.

Also, I thought about a way of adding the reflection to the pillars, by somehow combining these two pictures:

But then I realized that wouldn't really make sense, as there's no need for different parallax scrolling on the ground and the pillars. Hm.
