A rainbow is fired from Serenity's staff, but it barely travels fifty centimeters before it fizzles out.
Serenity: "... I can't take this any longer!"
Serenity bursts out in tears.
Monster 1: "... What is wrong with this mortal?"

Monster 3: "... Time to attack!"

Teacher: "NICOLE NEUMANN! WILL YOU STOP SINGING IN CLASS?!"
Nicole: "Sorry, mr. Melna... I'm just trying to get my mind off my brother's death..."
Mr. Melna: "... Go home. Take a few days off from school, we're not going to do much work now anyway, what with it being December in Surfacia..."
