Hehe, this idea reminds me a bit of a mod some guys were working on back in 2009 (and is surely dead nowadays): LF2 - The Animal Within.

I agree with most animals except for John; an owl sounds more fitting, in my opinion. A wolf might have too much power when comparing it to John :p
