Thanks everyone! An interesting thing: Even if i did have a reference for that sprite i made a little better colours and contrast to look better also i made a few different things from the reference.

Next time how about making a base from scratch ?

You mean to just do it by thought or to have a sprite next to where i'll draw it? Sounds pretty hard. :P

Use the second one and then give him wings and then it will be a charizard.. otherwise now he's a charmeleon.

Then it's a charmeleon. I don't feel like adding wings. :P
Made a new sprite. A thing about me tho. After i make a sprite decent to show it's followed by some sprite that is bad. So here's the new one:

I practised hair a bit. Also i started liking the 3 colour shading.

EDIT: Well i had to post it to see that i had mistakes.
I can see the big arm and the very small shoes.
