First off, thanks a ton, guys!

so you make all these from scratch? from like a white bg empty thingy to this? just awesome

Sometimes, I use a photo to sample the colors from there. Sometimes, I also use a photo that serves as a base plate where I draw on top of it to add stuff to it. It's different, but starting off with a blank canvas usually produces the greatest variety

why dont you start making some other types of drawing, not only romantic? (i have seen that some are not romantic but almost everyone is so).

(For the others, we discussed this in irc; "romantic" refers to the art style around the early 19th century)
Well, I guess it's what I like most. I'm not really an avid fan of those expressionist, picasso-esque images. I have started out with trying to convey some sort of realistic look (looking at my first images, this might have failed) but because it takes so long, I am now more on a painterly track. This is what defines me and this is how I define the world.
