Something which might've been forgotten already (and hence I post it here) is LF2's own debug-mode. If you press "abc" together in-game, a series of numbers is displayed at the top left of the screen. Works best if you are p1.
Pro-tip: don't F2-pause in debug-mode as it'll crash the game
I am not sure what all of those numbers mean, so feel free to expand the list. It just seems the top line consists of the following:
- some kind of x-value where 0 is at the high-point of an in-air-parabola and is symetrically around it. The values itself don't make that much sense to me, though.yeah, I'm stupid like that, it's the y-velocity. Thanks for pointing that out, A-MAN!
- y above the ground: this is fairly obvious -- the higher the character is above the ground, the lower the value will be.
- intval(y). Probably for display-purposes, the rounded value.
