Hmm.. It's good in 400-500% size, but it's weird in small size. I think I found the reason  



The sprite is too small  He doesn't look like much of a powerful wizard if he's so small.

Also, I think it would be better if the eyes wouldn't be hidden. The white in the eye area, are they supposed to be eyebrows? Because if they are, the facial shading in combination with the eyebrows confuse me. It kinda looks like the shadow in the mouth area is a brown moustache  No offence, I just think the face could be better. Other than that, I like the design.
