The energy tail looks fine to me I think there's a bit too much shading on his backside though (the right of his back specifically). I could be wrong though, you're the expert when it comes to spriting haha\

Edit: oh, I totally forgot to respond to one of your questions... I think it's best if all 79x79 sprites for special moves would be put in one spritesheet. D>J sprites first, D^A sprites after that and new sprites after D^A would save me some work
