Furthermore, I'd like to ask you guys for opinions upon one subject. The game is intended as an extension of the original game. However, about all of us seem to dislike one particular character: Louis. The question is: should he be still be in the game (as this mod is similar to a new release of the game)?

You would need a very very very good replacement and utilize all of the features you are freeing through that (instant object spawn pattern via state - unique state transform - unique health dependant action - armor). Only the last two on his id though.
