Simon is the first one to slowly approach the dark figure. Not many steps though and a deep, dark voice meets his ear.
???: Hold it. Stop right there.
Instinctively, Simon freezes at first. He has moved about a quarter of the distance.
???: I've recognized three familiar faces, yet I cannot be too sure.
Silence at first.
Nave: The what?!
snorsorbet: What's he talking about?
???: You've passed my first test. If you are able pass my second, I shall henceforth put aside all my remaining doubts about who you really are.

Simon feels the itch to start moving again. He might just be in reach for a surprise attack, but then again the other may be expecting one.
