In fact there have been a few people around actively asking for LF2 matches the past few months (on forums as well as on IRC), but somehow now during these summer months, it got really quiet. Probably many are on vacations or busy with summer jobs. I however doubt that nobody will play a game until August ends, so hang around regularly and there'll be some more activity.

Also as I mentioned, on the busier days (with around 15 people!) there's been some matchmaking on the official IRC channel (#lfe on freenode). In case you're new to this, it suffices to click the "LF2 Stream / Chat" button at the top right and choose a username.
