by pixel perfect I mean that when I look at your big version of the sprites they look so well done, the shading is so perfect and u dont use AA. big sprites could as well be some game art for another game. When I work in big I also use the pen tool but I go rather sloppy as I feel like its not worth the work to put so much detail in big version.
Ur big sprites are just awesomly detailed
