Alright, there will be no tables but I found a nice workaround using a monospaced font. Time for the big update!

Part II: The Prophecy
The blackness invading his mind did not come as a surprise - the realization of its importance concerning the days of events past all the more. Bamboori, twisting and turning in his bed, recognizes the blurry images to be his personal recap of the apocalyptic dream described to him as he had perceived them earlier. While instinctively trying to push the insistent feeling of destitution away, new but familiar images develop in his head.
???: Don't you move, I swear to you, I'll kill him! I'll do it!
Bamboori: P-please, don't...
Bamboori feels the stranger's firm grip around his body, the blade of a sharpened knife resting at his throat.
???: Put down your weapons, now!
Bamboori desperately tries to break free and in return feels the knife pressuring his flesh even more.
???: These are my terms. You let me go, I will let him go. Simple as that.
??? (2): We cannot do that. You know of our secret settlement. Letting you go would mean to betray the whole clan.
???: To hell with your clan! The world is in peril! I want nothing to do with your lot!
Bamboori: Please, Father, l-let him go...
Blinking his eyelids a few times he realizes the sunrays breaking through the crowns of countless trees, pronouncing the dawn of a new day. Suddenly there is a rush of movement and screams, the next few moments are a blur in his head. As the flow of time does not follow its usual linear direction within a human being's nightmare, the next thing Bamboori feels is a hard force hitting his back and head, making him gasp for air. The following moment is as clear as the light of a thousand candles, and while still lying on his back grasping the grass at his sides, Bamboori catches a glimpse of the branded face of his assailant.

Blue Phoenix: *yawn*
Bamboori: *shudder*
Blue Phoenix: ...what's up, Bamboori? Did you have the dream as well?
Bamboori: ...
Blue Phoenix: I guess that's natural, seeing how we got reminded of it yesterday. Not like amnesia could wipe our entire minds...
Bamboori: ... *shudder*
Blue Phoenix: Hey, dude. Is everything ok?
Bamboori: ...y-yes, it's fine...
Blue Phoenix: I know, the dream's a bit rough, seeing the world end and all that... but I thought we kinda got used to it already the past few weeks...
Bamboori jumps out of bed and heads for the door.
Blue Phoenix: Whoa, you're certainly acting strange right now. Gives me the creeps...
Bamboori opens the door and heads out. In the main room he sees Ian, Steiner and SirFrog having breakfast.
SirFrog: Morning, Bamboori. Wow, you look all pale in the face. Had the dream?
Bamboori: Not only that...
SirFrog: What do you mean?
Bamboori: It's... it's...
Bamboori lets out a little gasp.
Bamboori: Blue Phoenix.
SirFrog: Eh?
Bamboori: He... he tried to kill me, he took me hostage... it happened, I'm sure of it...
Steiner gets up, goes over to Bamboori and leads him to a free seat at the table. He is breathing heavily.
SirFrog: Why would he do that? Is he still in his room?
Bamboori: I mean... it didn't happen just now, I-I had a weird dream...
Ian: Explain.
Bamboori: I dreamed something from my past... an event that certainly happened. Blue Phoenix held a knife to my throat. He was talking to my father.
SirFrog: Your father?! How did he look like?
Bamboori shakes his head.
Bamboori: I don't know, I don't remember, I only heard his voice. The only thing I saw were sunrays, trees... it might have been a forest...
Ian: That is an interesting observation. If we were to find the appropiate forest, you might recover more from your memories. This in turn could help us with our search for the last Chosen One.
Blue Phoenix enters the room. Bamboori turns away from him.
Blue Phoenix: Mornin', guys. ...why all these long faces?
SirFrog: Well, Bamboori had an unsettling dream.
Blue Phoenix: So did I.
SirFrog: ...no, well... well, yes. (Better not go into specifics.)
Blue Phoenix takes a seat and gets something to eat. After a short while, the rest of the party members enter the room. Eventually, they all sit around the table, done with their morning meal.
Ian: Ok. The time has come.
Nave: The time? What time?
Ian: I prepared something for you to warm up for combats to come.
snorsorbet: Bring it on.
Together they leave the room and head towards the weird summoning room they have battled 12 skeletons before. As Ian opens the door to that room, something expects them. The grin of 8 more skeletons standing in the other half of the room.
Drahcir: Whoa!
Simon: Not again!
Ian: Do not worry, those are only dummy skeletons. The weakest ones that still act on their own. I took it upon myself to conjure a few for practice purposes.
Drahcir: You f-
SirFrog: Don't.
Ian: Me and Steiner are going to join you in this practice fight, to get you used to having two more allies within your ranks.
Phil: Mee-oow!
snorsorbet: Translation: Bring it on!
A Battle Commences!
Note: Since it's your first battle with the new battle system, there will now be a small intermission before it begins. Right now, you need to assign each character to a battle formation slot (as seen below), with rows 1-4 and columns a-c. Each space can only be occupied by one character.
Usually your battle formation is kept throughout the whole adventure (out of battles as well) and can not be readjusted at the start of a battle. (It can be changed whenever outside of battle though.)
Try to position your character in a way so that he can use the most skills or is most flexible with his skills!
