I like the Idea of the orbs and items, looks really neat and well presented.
However, the characters could use some separate sprites, the plain old edits don't seem to match the idea of a new 'character'.
There are already plenty of colour variations of the characters present out there which seem all the same to me, so there should be something that makes them stand out from the others. Or are they still work in progress? Good luck!
