Little Fighter 2 not working on Windows 10

In my case the game did not start at all, no window, no nothing. Resolution was to install this:
"Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package MFC Security Update"

And I've realised that when looking at Event Log an entry about missing resources:
Microsoft.VC80.MFC,processorArchitecture="x86"
