Well the second version is good but the first version's blood - red shirt looks better with his weapon. Give him grey hair. It'll look better. The scyth you're version of it looks like it's a rock not a blade of metal. A trick and tip is that always make the side end dark metal clour with the light side have more compacity. Put a white-grey shine on dark side and very very very tiny strokes on light side. Try it out it might work.....
