I have the following idea why this works (that the who's online thingy writes such trash): an "unpriviledged", a guest or a bot, is trying to access a certain page. The forum software recognizes an access to a certain url and gives this information to the who's online part. Afterward it gives the guest/bot an error message that he/she/it (lol) is not allowed to access that page. The who's online module, however, is assuming that everybody can access everything and since the url tells that, for example, a guest is sending a pm, the guest will be displayed as a post-sending monster which will doom us all. Or something like that :P
