I think that this sprite is a little too high. I mean, it looks like you took Monk as a basis and stretched him height-wise. IMO, he looks a little strange that way. BUT, if you keep that style for all characters, then there's nothing to complain about regarding the height.

In addition, you could add some more shading. The feet and head are pretty well shaded, the rest, however has little or no shading. You should work on this, too
